Panel 1: CLOSE UP OF VINAASH

VINAASH NARRATION:

My name is Vinaash Of The Holy Mountain. My family was stolen from me.

And nothing is going to stop me from getting them back.  

Panel 2: TITLE 

TITLE:

The Path Of
VINAASH

Panel 3:
Vinaash cuts through skeleton warriors within the depth of an ancient cave.

NARRATION:

Long ago my ancestors were worshiped as Gods until their followers turned against them.

Their souls were then trapped inside vessels and hidden across the lands.

It seems they’re still guarded to this day. 

I’d say these guys have earned their rest..

Panel 1: TALL
Vinaash leaps from a cliff edge. Bat creatures fly from the abyss towards her.

VINAASH NARRATION:

I’ve discovered that the more souls of my family that I've freed..

Panel 2: STACK

Vinaash falls as bats start to gain on her

VINAASH NARRATION:

The more they’ve..

Panel 3: STACK
The bat creatures begin to swarm as her force field in the shape of a icosahedron begins to form

VINAASH NARRATION:

Guided me.

Panel 4: STACK
The bats completely swarm her, obstructing her from view. Light begins bleeding out from the core of her force field.

VINAASH NARRATION:
Protected me. 

Panel 5: STACK
Blinding light destroys the bat creatures, her silhouette stands in the middle. 

VINAASH NARRATION:
Killed for me.

Panel 1:
Vinaash gets to her feet. Steam from the intense blast lifts from the smoldering corpse of the bat creatures at her feet. In the distance TANJO can be seen. 

VINAASH NARRATION:
Since I started my quest so many decades ago I have fought tirelessly. 

Each new day filled with a lifetime's worth of wonder and horror…

… but today I may finally find closure.

Panel 2:
Vinaash ponders. 

VINAASH NARRATION:

I can feel my ancestors telling me that she is here. 

That I’m finally going to see her again… 

Panel 3:

Close up of a beautiful statue 

VINAASH NARRATION:

Mom. 

Panel 4:

VINAASH NARRATION:

Soon we’ll finally be together.

Panel 1: SEQUENCE
Vinaash leaps and grabs hold of a vine. 

VINAASH NARRATION:

One last leap of faith.

Panel 2:
Tentacles reach from the gorge  

VINAASH NARRATION:

One last dungeon to crawl.

Panel 3:
Vinaash holds onto the vine with her feet and draws her sword 

VINAASH NARRATION:

One last monster to kill. 

Panel 4: WIDE
Vinaash swings over the gorge, slicing the tentacle

VFX:
SLICE

Panel 5: CLOSE UP

Vinaash jumps from her vine and reaches for the ledge. 

VINAASH:
ANCESTORS GUIDE ME!

Panel 6: EXTREME CLOSE UP
Vinaash falls short of the cliff

VINAASH:
Ancestors!?

Panel 1:
Vinaash narrowly grabs the cliff's edge. 

VINAASH:
 Nnngggg

Panel 2:
Vinaash pulls herself up, behind her a giant tentacle reaches to smack her. 

VINAASH:
What the hell was that, Ancestors? 

Aren’t you supposed to be protecting-

Panel 3: WIDE

Vinaash’s icosahedron shield raises, protecting her from the giant tentacle that she did not notice

VINAASH:
-Me.

Panel 4:

Vinaash cuts down the tentacle with a single slice

VINAASH:

I stand corrected. 

VFX:
SLICE

Panel 1: TOP DOWN

Vinaash walks towards the temple. 

VINAASH NARRATION:

I’m so nervous. 

What if she doesn’t like me? Should I have brought a gift?

Why am I only thinking of this now?

Panel 2:

Close up of the statue. 

VINAASH NARRATION:
Oh my gods. It’s really her.
She’s beautiful! 

Panel 3:
Vinaash holds the statue, behind her Tanjo closes in. 

VINAASH:
Hey Mom… It’s me. Vinaash. 

It’s been a long time since we talked.. And you died.

I think a century?

Panel 4:
Vinaash holds the statue in her hands and talks to it.

VINAASH:
I looked everywhere for you. 

I found the rest of the family but…

Panel 5:

Vinaash holds the statue in her hands, continuing to talk to it, her face begins to scrunch as she starts to break down.  

VINAASH:
I’m sorry I couldn’t find you sooner. 

I’m so sorry mom.

Panel 6:
Vinaash embraces the statue and breaks into tears.

VINAASH:
I love you! 

Panel 7:

Vinaash continues to embrace the statue as Tanjo closes in

VINAASH NARRATION:
For the first time in my life…

I feel complete.

That my long journey has come to it’s end.

Panel 8: CLOSE UP

Vinaash’s eye widens. 

VINAASH NARRATION:
That the fighting can sto-

Panel 1
Tanjo stabs through Vinaash's chest. The blade cuts through her shield and the statue. 

TANJO:
I raised those batlings from eggs. 

Panel 2
Tanjo kicks Vinaash's lifeless body from his sword. The statue falls from her hands. 

VINAASH NARRATION:

Wait-
What-

This isn’t possible!
Ancestors?

Panel 3:
The statue shatters 

Panel 4:
Vinaash lies on the ground, bloodied. She reaches out to the rubble of the statue. 

TANJO
But you don’t care, do you? No..

VINAASH NARRATION:
Mom?

Panel 5:

Vinaash rolls on to her back and looks up in fear, pain and hatred at her executioner. 

TANJO
..all your kind ever care about..

VINAASH NARRATION:
Somebody?

Panel 6:
Vinaash holds her hand up to her face in fear. Her eyes wide with terror as the shadow of Tanjo looms over.

TANJO
… is destruction.

VINAASH NARRATION:
HELP ME!
