COLTON FOX’S WRITERS RETREAT WRAPS!

COURSE SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES

Colton Fox is thrilled to conclude his first ever writers course. His four-week course that ran from March 18th – April 8th was a complete success. Colton was able to cover a larger scope of information on writing than his Comic Book Bootcamp and even saw a few returning students from his previous iteration.

What made Colton happiest was the camaraderie between classmates, who have been active on the class’s Discord group. They have even begun planning hangouts to review each other’s stories and work! The sense of community that formed so quickly has been inspiring, and Colton is excited to see how these connections continue to grow. He’s already brainstorming ways to build on this momentum for future courses and workshops.

Colton Fox is the creator of the hit comic series Witch Hazel, which was awarded Best Independent Comic of 2022. His work is heavily featured throughout the film Erin’s Guide to Kissing Girls. Colton Fox has previously taught comic classes through The Kingston School of Art and is excited for this next step in his educator journey.
